A JEWEL - The small town of Madison is located on the southern edge of Indiana along the Ohio River. It has one of the largest historic districts in the country. I was there for a board retreat with Indiana Landmarks, an organization that preserves human history by rescuing significant buildings. One can walk for hours to see the fascinating quiltwork of architectural history in this over 200-year-old river town.
